The trail twists and winds down one hillside, crosses a drainage ravine, and then begins the same process up the next hillside towards the back of the park. Interesting trail features include multiple ravine crossings and a banked turn with dips in it. The trail is similar to those at SIUE, with moderate elevation change, and tight and twisty areas through lots of new growth trees. It can be ridden as fast, or as slow as the rider's skills allow. More single track is being added to the west side of the park.
